The National Championships are some of the most important and competitive tournaments that all yoga athletes look forward to testing themselves at.
After two years of delay due to the impact of the Covid epidemic, the Fourth National Championship has finally been set to be held in Ninh Thuan province in November this year and once again, TPY International Yoga Academy is pleased to be the companion of the tournament organizers. Let’s review with TPY International Yoga Academy some information about the 4th National Championship Rules 2022 as below:
I. CONTEST SUBJECTS
All Vietnamese citizens aged 23 or older (born before December 31, 1999), have good moral character, have not violated the law, and are healthy enough to compete in sports.
II. TIME AND LOCATION
- When: November 25 to 27, 2022.
- Location: Ninh Thuan Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center (No. 122 August 21 Street, Phuoc My Ward, Phan Rang – Thap Cham City, Ninh Thuan Province)

III. REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS
Units need to submit competition registration and other procedures to the following address:

Final registration deadline is November 19, 2022
– The list of coaches and athletes participating in the tournament is registered by the units (organizations and agencies with legal status) and confirmed by the Department of Culture and Sports, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of provinces and cities directly under the Central Government.
– Athletes’ health certificate issued by a district-level health agency or higher within no more than 01 month.
– The competition registration form and competition program will be sent with the Charter and updated on the Vietnam Yoga Federation’s website at: vyf.org.vn
– The registration form must be typed, organizers do not accept handwriting.
– If any unit submits incomplete or late registration (based on postmark) compared to the above deadline, it will not be allowed to compete.
IV. CONTEST REQUIREMENTS
Athlete card: All athletes competing must have an athlete card issued by the Vietnam Yoga Federation, once the individual has completed the procedures.
Card issuance procedures:
+ Card application signed by the managing unit;
+ Copy of ID card/CCCD;
+ 02 photos 3×4 cm (white background);
— Note: In case an athlete has been issued a card but loses it, he/she will have to pay a fee of 200,000 VND/card to reissue a new card.
+ Commitment to participate in the tournament of each individual athlete.
V. TYPES OF FEES AND CHARGES
Insurance fee: Minimum level is 50,000 VND/person, the managing unit is responsible for purchasing insurance for its athletes.
Competition fee: Each athlete registering to compete pays 400,000 VND (four hundred thousand VND)
Quit fee: Athletes who have registered to compete in the competition content in their official competition registration but do not compete will have to pay a fine at the following levels:
+ Athletes who quit legally will not have to pay a quitting fee;
+ Dropped at the team leadership meeting: 100,000 VND/event/01 athlete;
+ Cancellation 24 hours before the competition time: 200,000 VND/event/01 athlete;
+ In addition, other cases of withdrawal are not accepted.
Note: Eligible dropouts are athletes who have previously registered to compete, but due to injury or some other force majeure reason are unable to compete, they must have a medical certificate or the governing body to be considered valid.
*Technical meeting:
The technical meeting will take place 36 hours before the opening day of the tournament.
